The Job
To manage a residential home providing long-term, respite and day care, and other related services, to vulnerable elderly people in accordance
with the Trust's overall policies and objectives within an agreed budget. The Home Manager has full day-to-day responsibility for the operational
management of the home and is responsible for the quality of care delivered to the residents and clients in the home. The post holder will

Essential Experience/Skills
· Approximately five years experience in a caring profession, 2 of which should be in a supervisory/management position.
· Proven leadership and team management skills.
· Experience of budget management and of organising administrative systems.

Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in the writing of
reports.

Must have the ability to train, motivate and support
staff.
· Suitable qualification, such as NVQ 4 in Management, CMS, Diploma in Welfare Studies, Open University Elderly or BTEC Elderly, a nursing qualification.
