Kent based regional charity, Avante Partnership has completed its merger with Care Partners Trust, a charity established in 2000 to provide homecare and Independent Living support in Bexley. The combined organisation will now employ 1900 people, support over 4,000 people and will have a combined turnover in excess of £33m pa.
The staff and services previously provided by Care Partners Trust will be absorbed within Avante Partnership's operating subsidiary, Avante Care and Support and the organisation will now be providing almost 9,000 hours a week of homecare in Bexley and Kent.
Commenting on the merger, Brian Munday, Avante Partnership's Chairman said 'This is a very positive outcome for both organisations. Both Boards of trustees felt that a merger would further secure our positions and improve our ability to deliver improving services to our service users. We believe that combining our experience, knowledge and bringing our staff together will benefit our current and future service users'.
