The results are in and it's clear! Avante Partnership's customers; those people who receive the care and support provided by Avante Care and Support and Stepahead Support rate the services they receive as 'Excellent'.
In late 2009, Avante Partnership commissioned an independent research company to undertake a comprehensive survey of those in receipt of care and support through its operating entities, Avante Care and Support and Stepahead Support. The headlines contained in the survey report's Executive Summary are.
- Avante Partnership customers give the organisation an average overall satisfaction score of 9.2 out of 10. The highest score is given by Supported Living residents (9.6), while average scores were lower among Care at Home (9.4) and Care Home customers (9.0) and Stepahead Support users (9.1).
- Almost nine out of ten of Avante Partnership's customers (88%) would recommend the organisation to a friend or family member and a similar proportion would choose Avante Partnership again.
- The majority of customers agree that Avante Partnership is delivering on its values in terms of the way the organisation works with service users.
- Avante Partnership's staff were highlighted as one of the best things about the service received by every customer group, with frequent positive comments from all types of respondent not only on staff members' skills but also on their attitudes.
The research company said in its final report '…an indicative comparison with benchmarking satisfaction data from other surveys suggests that Avante Partnership services could be considered "excellent" in the context of satisfaction with other organisations'.
